The main theme of the Conference is “Sustainable Teacher Professional Development in English Language Education: Where Theory, Practice, and Policy Meet”.
The idea of a sustainable approach is used to place emphasis that teachers are lifelong learners who are entrusted to develop their professionalism and innovate their pedagogical practices. Recent studies show that both ESOL teacher professionalism and innovative pedagogical practices exert influence on fruitful English language education. In this respect, the ultimate goal of English language education is to help learners become competent users of English as a lingua franca or English as an additional language.
